Van Insurance - Kangoo ZE picks up industry accolade

The Kangoo ZE has picked up an accolade this week for its stylish looks and performance.

Named the VansA2Z.com Ecovan of the Year, the manufacturer picked up the award at a ceremony at the historic Twickenham Stadium yesterday (March 15th) - with the judges highlighting the excellent driveability and the beauty of the vehicle as key factors in their decision.

Website editor Neil McIntee commented: "I have driven it many times in many countries, including the Brighton to London Future Car Challenge, and found it works completely effortlessly."

The ZE is Renault's first 100 per cent electric van and was launched in October last year.

It offers a load capacity of 3.5 cubic metres and is powered by a 44kW electric motor.

Boasting energy efficiency of 90 per cent and excellent acceleration at low speeds, the model was recently named International Van of the Year 2012 by a jury of 22 European journalists.
