Business Insurance - Volvo 'three in one motor' could be the ideal company car

Business car insurance policyholders looking for a new company car may be in luck with the new Volvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid.

The vehicle is being billed as three cars in one, due to it being able to turn into a different style of motor at the click of a button.

Drivers can use the vehicle as an electric car that has a range of 32 miles, or a more engaging and dynamic model that can manage 0-62 mph in 6.9 miles, or even as a high-efficiency hybrid that has CO2 emissions of an average of just 49 g/km.

Set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the automobile will be released into the marketplace in 2012.

This news comes after the manufacturer revealed it had won a prize at the What Car? Car of the Year awards for its Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake safety technology.
