About the Bentley Eight

As Wikipedia; The Bentley Eight was the car brand’s so called ‘entry level’ offering from 1984 until 1992.

Distinguished principally by its silver wire-mesh grille radiator (instead of the normal vertical slats) the Eight had less equipment than the similar Mulsanne on which it was based.

This brought the on the road price in the UK to under what was thought of as the psychologically important £50,000 point, £6,000 less than the Mulsanne.

In addition, and distinct from the Mulsanne, the Bentley Eight had firmer suspension which offered slight handling improvements. 

The Eight proved very popular was so in demand that sales expanded from the UK market to Europe and the United States. 

As the Classics World website concludes, the Bentley Eight can be a rational, relatively inexpensive classic car choice.
