Consumer test sees Uniroyal tyres praised

Uniroyal's tyres have gone under the microscope but received a beaming review.

The RainSport 2 and RainExpert products were tested by the consumer watchdog Which? and named as Best Buys.

Of the RainSport 2, the group said it performed well in all areas and handled well across wet and dry conditions.

The RainExpert, which has only been available since January, was described as a tyre that "lives up to its name tag thanks to its class-leading wet grip".

Both were compared to a competitor on the current market.

"This is a great endorsement for the Uniroyal brand," said product manager Scott Benbow. "The Which? Best Buys and the comments about wet weather performance are a great way to celebrate 40 years of the rain tyre."
