Rolls-Royce to show off custom Drophead Coupe in London

A lavish customised Phantom Drophead Coupe is being shown off by manufacturer Rolls-Royce at next month's Masterpiece London 2011 exhibition.

The hand-built vehicle has been designed to embody the idea of a "perfect weekend getaway" and includes several unique features to offer the ultimate in luxury top-down driving.

Among them are a natural-grain leather interior, embroidered floor and door panels, a yacht-inspired teak decking and a Mazarine Blue paint job, making it the first Rolls-Royce to be produced in this colour.

Other luxurious additions include its bespoke luggage set and an Asprey jewellery box within the glove compartment, designed to store rings, cufflinks and earrings.

Torsten Muller-Otvos, chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said: "It's a model that demonstrates the breadth of our bespoke offering, where the only limit to what we can deliver is a client's imagination."

Earlier this year, the company created an exclusive collection of bespoke Phantom models to mark the 100th anniversary of the brand's iconic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.
