Classic car insurance customers may be tempted by auction

Motorists who are passionate about the kind of vehicles that require classic car cover may want to clear their diaries on Thursday April 16th.

H&H has announced it will be holding its 100th historic auto auction and it said there will be some interesting models going under the hammer.

One collection being put up for sale comes from a Paris-based enthusiast and features a 1933 Lagonda Tourer, a 1920 Kissel 'Gold Bug' Speedster and a 1951 Mercury Moneterey.

Meanwhile, a family from the Lake District are entering over 30 cars at the event.

This particular collection comprises vehicles made by a wide range of manufacturers, including Morris, MG, Alvis, Wolseley and Rolls-Royce.

Enthusiasts who want to auction off their own cars have until March 25th to make entries in the event's catalogue.
