Crockard and Pocock join Suzuki team

Motorcycle insurance buyers might be keen to hear Gordon Crockard and Mel Pocock have joined the Suzuki team in preparation for the British Superbike Championship.

Crockard said he is feeling "extremely positive" about the forthcoming season, despite a tough few previous campaigns.

He added: "With a strong team ... behind me and a great bike like the RM-Z450 it's got to be one of the best shots I've had in a long time at doing something special."

What's more, his colleague Pocock, who is stepping up as number one in the MX2 section, stated he is feeling very optimistic for the season ahead with his RM-Z250, which he pointed out is known as one of the best bikes in its class.

This comes after the Suzuki GSX1250FA, which is available in the standard guise and sports tourer ST version, was named Motorcycle News Machine of the Year in November 2010.
