Nissan to release revised NV200

Nissan has announced the launch of a new and improved version of its acclaimed NV200 light commercial vehicle (LCV) next month.

The newest incarnation of the multiple award-winning van, the n-tec, is being released in the UK on July 1st 2011 and offers a Nissan Connect satellite navigation and communication system built in as standard.

Options will be provided to allow buyers to benefit from a more powerful engine, as well as air conditioning and an Intelligent Key system that automatically opens the door and starts the engine as the driver approaches.

Meanwhile, Nissan will also be introducing Bluetooth connectivity as a standard fitment across the entire NV200 range.

Nissan's LCV sales and marketing director Francis Bleasdale said: "With significant range enhancements and a powerful new flagship engine, we look forward to even stronger demand for the NV200 over the coming months."

Later this year, Nissan plans to expand its range of commercial vehicles further with the launch of the NV400, which is being positioned as a "big brother" to the NV200.
